The Acai Bowl
The Acai Bowl is definitely the go-to breakfast or snack as we gear up for summer. These dark purple berries that are grown mostly in Brazil's amazon forest are packed with nutrients and are a host to antioxidants, amino acids and essential fatty acids. Here's a version of a quick and tasty Acai Bowl you can try out!
Ingredients-
Acai Pure (Frozen berries, comes in 5 100g blocks)
1/2 cup Strawberries
1/2 cup Blue Berries
1/2 cup Raspberries
1/2 Banana (Slice)
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup Granola
1 tablespoon Chai seeds
1 tablespoon coconut shavings (Optional)
Method:
Add acai berries with milk and blend for 20-30 seconds until puréed
Pour purée into a bowl and start layering granola followed by fruits (mention above)
Sprinkle chai seeds and coconut shavings evenly
